Let's review the most significant ingredients in order of quantity as listed on the label. Let's examine the most significant ingredients in order of quantity as listed on the label. Here is a brief summary. For the full text, studies and bibliography just click on the ingredient.

Sorbitolo. Sorbitol. Labeled as E420 in the list of food additives, it is found, in nature, in fruits such as pears, apples, cherries, sorb apples, plums, etc., but it is industrially obtained by a chemical process from glucose. It is an artificial sweetener, a sugar alcohol with six carbon atoms, widely used in food and pharmaceutical production for its sweetening properties. In this product it functions as a bulking agent with the function of " increasing the volume of a food product without contributing significantly to its available energy value."

Glucosamina cloridrato. Glucosamine Hydrochloride. is a natural product, an amino sugar used for many years in the treatment for osteoarthritis. The raw material to obtain Glucosamine Hydrochloride is chitin which is extracted from shrimp shells by deproteinization, demineralization and depigmentation.

Maltodestrina (or maltodextrin) one or more polymers useful for the absorption of sugars and to provide energy. It is obtained by enzymatic or acid hydrolysis from starch and generally shows high solubility in water, low viscosity. It is used as an additive in the food industry to sweeten foods. More digestible than other carbohydrates, it is a white powder that provides only 4 calories per gram and low amounts of fiber, fat and protein.

Acido citrico. Citric acid. A tricarboxylic acid and is made from lemon and other fruit juice, beet juice and other vegetables and is used as an acidity regulator in food and pharmaceuticals. "Acidity regulators" are substances that modify or control the acidity or alkalinity of a food product.

Boswellia serrata a tree belonging to the Burseraceae family that grows in India, Middle East and North Africa. The crude extract and pure compound of Boswellia serrata are capable of natural anti-inflammatory activity and its biologically active constituents act synergistically to exert anti-inflammatory/anti-arthritic activity showing improvement in physical and functional capacity and reducing pain and stiffness in the management of knee osteoarthritis.

Esteri dl saccarosio degli acidi grassi. Sucrose esters of fatty acids, stabilizing component. "Stabilizers" are substances that make it possible to maintain the physical-chemical state of a food product. Fatty acids derived from edible fats and oils (lauric acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, etc.) are used.

Acido L-ascorbico  L-ascorbic acid a chemical compound, a synthesized vitamin C. Vitamin C is necessary for tissue growth and repair in all parts of the body.

Aroma. The term "Aroma" or "Flavor" is generic, therefore it does not mean the aroma or the aromas included are obtained by natural means, it is a mixture of substances or preparations, also obtained by synthetic transformations, that is chemical.

Beta carotene a natural dye, carotenoid, and pigment found naturally in carrots, beets, and other vegetables.

Saccarina sodica, Saccharin sodium, a synthetic sweetener. The field of scientific research is teeming with studies on its food safety. A debated chemical compound, but as far as human health is concerned, Saccharin has been (2014) tested in concentrations equal to those found in soft drinks, but, at least in this study, no interference on the aryl receptor or glucocorticoid receptor was found.

Sucralosio. Sucralose, another synthetic sweetener. The amounts included in this product do not appear to be of concern.

Biossido di silicio, Silicon Dioxide, Chemical compound used as anti-caking agents. "Anti-caking agents" are substances that reduce the tendency of individual particles in a food product to adhere to each other. Must not exceed 2% of the total weight of the product in which it is included

Manganese gluconato Manganese gluconate is a chemical compound, a manganese salt of gluconic acid. It activates any enzyme and is a catalyst in the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol, oxidizes fat, affects blood sugar regulation and breast milk production.

La vitamina D refers to two compounds, vitamin D2 ergocalciferol and vitamin D3 cholecalciferol. It provides countless benefits to the human body, Here it is included as vitamin D3 cholecalciferol, but in minimal amounts as it is in the penultimate place on the label.

Gomma di Guar Guar gum has been used by the food industry as a thickener and/or stabilizer in emulsions because of its excellent dough properties. Many interesting properties, including antioxidant activity, hypocholesterolemic activity and prebiotic activity have been attributed by the scientific literature to this compound.

Conclusions

Excellent product with ingredients aimed at achieving the proposed goal and no synthetic dyes and other problematic chemical compounds. The only downside is the inclusion of Chemical Flavor.
