Phospholipase D (PLD EC 3.1.4.4), a phospholipid-degrading enzyme is the key enzyme involved in initiating a cascade of catabolic events that leads to the eventual deterioration of the membrane, and is highly active in the fruits of other berry species such as strawberry. raspberry etc.

PLD activity was primarily associated with the mitochondrial and microsomal fractions and showed increased activity during development (1).

This study reports any remedies to counteract the deterioration produced by Fosfolipasi D on fruits (2).

CAS : 9001-87-0

EINECS 232-639-8
