Asus nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 Super. RECENSION

Released in 2019 on the market, it had a great success despite the very high price.

Let's see what features have brought this graphics card to the top.

Compared to the 2070 version, the 2070 super version has an extra gear and fan.

This card uses a new architecture created by nvidia in 2006: NVIDIA Turing™. Turing combines real-time ray-tracing, artificial intelligence, simulation, and rasterization for more defined graphics effects and speed of execution.

But what is ray-tracing? Ray-tracing is a graphic process directly related to the graphics card processor that simulates the physical behavior of light and makes it increasingly similar to reality. Here the value is 1,440p, very high.

The video memory is 8GB and the CUDA Cores values, which indicates the graphics execution speed is 2.560, which means a speed of almost 4 times that of the excellent 1050 GTX card.

Tested on simulation games such as Horizon Forza 4, Race Setup competition, Doom Eternal, Wild Hunt, Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft and others, it is very fluid in 4k with a very acceptable power consumption for which is sufficient to power the PC from only 650W. In Metro Exodus you get 70 fps continuous.

It is not worth, in my opinion, to buy the 2080 which costs much more and has similar performance. The 2080 has some features that are designed for future standards that are currently not usable.

It can drive 4 monitors with 2 HDMI outputs, 2 Display port outputs, 1 HDCP and one USB port.
