Louis Armstrong (1901, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S. - 1971) was the greatest exponent of Jazz music.

Singer, trumpet player, nicknamed Satchmo, began his career with a little notoriety in 1925 in Chicago.

The success came in 1929 and until 1935 and he traveled to the U.S.A. and in Europe.

He played a few films with Mae West, Dick Powell, the stars of the time.

In his career he seems to have played in more than 4000 concerts

In 1964, with his performance, Hello Dolly, he won the Grammy Award.
