Brief Description

The first 100% electric Alfa Romeo, the Junior (originally named Milano), brings the Biscione’s sporty design into the B-SUV segment: floating “Scudetto” grille, triple-segment DRLs, and rear pillars with tricolore logo. The STLA Small / e-CMP platform hosts a 54 kWh (400 V) battery beneath a flat floor; overall dimensions remain compact (4,173 × 1,781 × 1,535 mm; wheelbase 2,562 mm) with a 400-liter trunk. Inside, the standout feature is the “Cannocchiale” dashboard tunnel with dual 10.25″ (instruments) and 10.7″ (Uconnect 5 infotainment) displays, plus an optional head-up display.

In Summary

The Junior Electric finally brings Alfa Romeo into the BEV era with aggressive styling, cutting-edge infotainment, and a chassis promising more driving fun than its Stellantis cousins. While its highway range and “only” 100 kW DC charging don’t lead the tech race, record cabin space, standard 11 kW AC charging, and the punchy 240 hp Veloce version make it both an emotional and rational option in the growing premium electric B-SUV segment.

Verdict — Alfa Romeo Junior Electric / Veloce
(“Milano” → Junior, Model-Year 2025)

The first fully electric Alfa brings the Biscione into the premium B-SUV segment: compact (4,173 mm) yet aggressive styling, stiffened CMP-Evo platform, 54 kWh net battery, and two power outputs. For 2025, it introduces full L2 semi-autonomous driving, iconic “3+3” Arrow LED headlights, a 12.3″ + 10.25″ Stellantis-UX cockpit with Alfa Romeo skin, and a Veloce trim with 280 hp and mechanical Torsen differential. In an arena dominated by the Volvo EX30, Jeep Avenger, Peugeot e-2008, Mini Aceman, and DS 3 E-Tense, the Junior plays the card of Alfa DNA and design echoes of the 33 Stradale.
