Where is it ?
It is present in the leaves of the plants of the family Ericaceae, including the rhododendron.
What is it for?
It is used in :
- Cosmetics : in face care creams
- To prepare the Labrador tea, however this drink should not be drunk more than once a day due to the toxicity of the ledol and grayanotoxin (1).
