Sanguiin H6 è un biflavonoide e si trova nella frutta, in particolare nella mora (Rubus fruticosus), nel Lampone europeo (Rubus idaeus), nel Lampone americano (Rubus strigosus), nel Lampone selvatico cileno (Rubus geoides Sm.), nel Lampone nero (Rubus occidentalis Litacz), nella Salvastrella (Sanguisorba officinalis L.) ed in altri frutti e piantine appartenenti alla famiglia delle Rosaceae.
Ha proprietà antinfiammatorie, antimicrobiche e viene studiato per un possibile uso contro i tumori (1).
