This robot uses new cleaning technologies: Imprint™, PerfectEdge®. Anti-Allergens, vSLAM®.
Compared to previous models (880 and 980), the suction power is higher and Imprint™ technology allows Roomba s9+ robot vacuum to learn, map and adapt to the room by choosing the most appropriate cleaning mode. PerfectEdge® technology, which consists of a new angled brush, totally redesigned and different from previous brushes, ensures optimal cleaning along edges and in corners.
The Anti-Allergen system is able to block and store 99% of pollen and mold in the passage from the robot to the Base without returning to the air. It is a system that follows that of the EPA filter, but more effective and sophisticated.
vSLAM® uses a very precise optical sensor to store over 230,400 pieces of information per second, which will allow the robot to create a map of the environment so it knows where it is, where it has already been and where it still needs to clean.
Another useful new feature is the ability to exclude areas containing delicate objects from the cleaning path and to store saved settings in the future.
Ordinary maintenance
Empty the dust container
Press the dust container cover release and lift the container
Lift handle to remove dust container
Press the drawer release button to empty the dust container. Warning: It takes a lot of effort to lift the lid.
Open the filter door and remove the filter by grasping the tab.
Remove debris by tapping the filter on the waste basket.
Replace the filter and close the filter door.
The dust container can be washed. Warning: the filter must not be washed.
Clean the angle brush
Use a small screwdriver to loosen the screw holding the angle brush in place and pull to remove the angle brush. Remove any odetritic hair, then reinstall the brush.
Clean the rear caster wheel
Pull firmly on the rear caster wheel module to remove it from the robot body and pull or push firmly on the wheel to remove it from its housing.
Remove any debris inside the wheel cavity
When finished, reinstall all components. Make sure the wheel clicks into place.
Multi-surface brush cleaning
Lift the brush frame release tabs, lift the brush frame and remove any debris.
Remove brushes from robot. Remove brush seals from ends of brushes. Remove any hair or debris from seals. Reinstall brush seals.
Remove any hair or debris from square and star-shaped tips on end of brushes.
Reinstall the brushes in the robot. Match the shape of the brush tips to the shape of the corresponding cleaning head module.

The battery pulls out via the two tabs.

You need to thin the plastic portion between the contacts and the edge in the bottom cover of your Roomba. This way your Roomba will have an easy way in.
This method is valid for all Roomba models that have difficulty re-entering to the base.
