BMW M8 (F91 Convertible / F92 Coupé / F93 Gran Coupé) – Model Year 2025

Country of Manufacture
All M8 models are built at BMW’s Dingolfing plant in Germany, which also assembles the “standard” 8 Series and the M5.
Overview
The 2025 Life-Cycle Impulse brings Arrow-style LED DRLs, an optional Iconic Glow grille surround, updated aerodynamic profiles in the bumpers, and new lightweight forged 20″ M wheels. Inside, the Curved Display (12.3″ instruments + 14.9″ infotainment) with BMW OS 9 makes its debut, paired with a redesigned M steering wheel and toggle-style gear selector. The carbon roof (Coupé / Gran Coupé) and fast-folding fabric top (Convertible) remain. The “Carbon Core” chassis retains its dimensions (Coupé 4,851 × 1,902 × 1,346 mm; wheelbase 2,822 mm) but gains 5% torsional rigidity. M Adaptive Suspension, Integral Active Steering, and optional carbon-ceramic brakes are all carried over.

Verdict — BMW M8 Coupé / Convertible / Gran Coupé
(G15 / G14 / G16 “LCI 2” – Model Year 2025)
The second facelift brings the M8 to the peak of its combustion-powered career: slimmer Adaptive LED Arrow headlights, kidney grille with Iconic Glow surround now standard on M Carbon trims, slim-spoke M steering wheel, and Curved Cockpit with iDrive 8.5 (QuickSelect, 5G). The 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 S63 now features a 48 V mild-hybrid system integrated into the 12 kW starter-generator. Power and torque rise to 650 hp • 800 Nm across all variants (Coupé, Convertible, Gran Coupé). The 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox with Drivelogic, switchable xDrive (2WD Drift mode), active M differential, and revised Adaptive M Professional suspension with softer comfort valves are all included.
