Orthosiphon stamineus is a plant belonging to the Labiatae family and is cultivated in tropical countries and south-east Asia. Phytochemical analysis shows polyphenols, bioactive proteins, flavonol glycosides and a lot of potassium with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and vasodilator activity.
