Chemical Industrial Synthesis Process

• Preparation of reagents. The main raw materials include beta-carotene, organic solvents such as ethanol, and antioxidants like BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene).
• Extraction. The production of CI 75100 begins with the extraction of beta-carotene from natural sources such as carrots or algae. The extraction is carried out using organic solvents to solubilize the beta-carotene.
• Filtration and solvent removal. The solution containing beta-carotene is filtered to remove impurities and solid particles. Subsequently, the solvents are removed through vacuum evaporation.
• Crystallization. The concentrated beta-carotene is slowly cooled to allow crystallization. This process helps achieve a high-purity product.
• Purification. The beta-carotene crystals are further purified using techniques such as chromatography to ensure high purity of CI 75100.
• Stabilization. The purified beta-carotene is stabilized with antioxidants like BHT to prevent oxidation and maintain color stability during transportation and storage.
• Drying. The purified product is dried at controlled temperatures to obtain a fine beta-carotene powder.
• Quality control. The CI 75100 undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure it meets standards for purity, color intensity, and safety. These tests include chemical analysis, spectroscopy, and microbiological testing.
