Description

Vinyl dimethicone/lauryl dimethicone crosspolymer is a chemical compound, silicone elastomer with characteristics of high heat resistance and elasticity adaptable to both high and low temperatures, consisting of crosslinked dimethicone copolymers with a bifunctional agent. It is produced by hydroxylation by adding silicon hydride bonds with a catalyst, usually platinum. Crosslinked polymer containing vinyl dimethicone and lauryl dimethicone.

Surfactant - Dispersing agent. Surfactant ingredient with cleaning properties that acts as a dispersing agent, capable of creating a barrier between particles by dispersing them and improving the separation between particles during the dispersion process. The particles undergo wetting, separation and then stabilisation of the suspension.

Viscosity Enhancing Agent - non acqueous. Since viscosity is important for increasing the chemical and physical stability of the product, Viscosity Enhancing Agent non acqueous is an important dosage factor in gels, suspensions, emulsions, solutions. Increasing viscosity makes formulations less sedimentary and more homogeneously thickened.
