Hydrogenated Poly (C6-20 Olefin) is a chemical compound, polyene, with simple hydrocarbon structures with no functional groups other than alkenes or alkanes, produced by the polymerisation of vinyl monomers such as alkenes or olefin and obtained from the polymerisation of olefin monomers, each containing 6 to 20 carbons. It is a polymeric ingredient using an ethylene unit.
Insoluble in organic solvents or water, soluble only in special organic solvents.
What it is used for and where
Cosmetics
Epilating agent. This ingredient removes hair directly from the follicle and can be applied independently or in combination with other ingredients. While the razor removes hairs at their top, the depilatory agent eradicates them from their base.
