Polysilicone-22 is a silicone chemical compound, is a siloxane complex polymer made by reacting Hydrogen Dimethicone with Dodecene and then crosslinking with Bis-Vinyldimethicone. Polysilicon-22 does not have a defined structure that can be easily represented, as it is a complex polymer with a high molecular weight.
Silicones have high chemical stability but low biodegradability and high bioaccumulation potential.

Viscosity control agent. It controls and adapts viscosity to the required level for optimal chemical and physical stability of the product and dosage in gels, suspensions, emulsions, solutions.
Safety
It is an ingredient that has a high bioaccumulation and persistence, however in cosmetic use this ingredient is considered safe.
