Disodium capryloyl glutamate is a chemical compound, the disodium salt of the amide formed from the reaction of capryloyl chloride and glutamic acid in a basic environment. (produced via the Schotten-Baumann reaction).
It appears as a colourless to light yellow liquid.

Surfactant cleaning agent with good cleaning power, fragrance. Not too aggressive on the skin.
