Stevie Wonder (Stevland Hardaway Morris; Saginaw, Michigan, May 13, 1950) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, and one of the most influential and long-lived figures in soul, R&B, and pop music.

Origins and training (1950s – early 1960s)

Raised in Detroit, Stevie Wonder lost his sight shortly after birth. From childhood he showed exceptional musical talent, learning to play:
