Wise Guys is a 1986 film directed by Brian De Palma. It is a dark comedy that revolves around the world of the mafia and criminal gangs. 

Plot

The film follows the story of Harry Valentini (played by Danny DeVito) and Moe Dickstein (played by Joe Piscopo), two small-time criminals who work for the mafia. Despite being friends, the two often find themselves in ridiculous and dangerous situations due to their reckless actions.

One day, Harry and Moe are sent by their mafia boss to kill a member of their own organization who has turned out to be an FBI informant. However, during the murder, things go awry, and the two men accidentally kill an FBI agent. From that moment on, a wild chase begins as they try to escape both the law and other criminals.

The plot is characterized by comedic situations, chases, and misunderstandings as Harry and Moe try to survive and resolve their desperate situation. Meanwhile, they must also face the consequences of their actions, and their friendship is put to the test.
