RBS 1.13 darkyjoe (Real Billboards & Stuff) new Winter Monza 1.0 and Autumn Nords 1.1 by JW modding 1.13
A Mod with 3 mods!
Another Mod for Assetto Corsa , a "must have" because you will get all the billboards and track signs exactly as they are in real life.In Assetto Corsa, Kunos has done an excellent job modifying the billboards and replacing the originals in many places with Kunos branding and Assetto Corsa branding which, by the way, are nice to see.
The goal of every driver, however, is to simulate reality as closely as possible and so this Mod offers us a great help because it has modified the graphics of the simulator by restoring the original advertising.
And not just that, it has modified the marshals, the kerbs and so much stuff that it is better to read it here where you can download this very useful Mod.
Great work from the first release in 2016.
The zipped file take up 383Mb and, after downloading it, I explain how to install it in an easy way and without going through Content Manager.
You have simply to unzip it in the Assetto Corsa directory, but be careful, not the one you find in My Documents, because it would not work there, but in STEAM.
Double click on the zipped file:
Open WinRAR or any other program that unzips the program
Click "Extract to".
Search for and click on the STEAM folder
Double click on steamapps so that the path opens up
Double click on common so that the path opens up
Double click on assettocorsa where the package will be installed by pressing OK.
The WinRAR job is done.
Now we look for the folder RBS 1.13 - Autumn nords - Winter Monza by JW modding inside which we will find a program that will allow us to select the various environments.
In practice we redo the path that we did to install the zipped file, then:
Click the STEAM folder then double click on steamapps so that it opens the path
Double click on common so that the path opens up
Double click on the assettocorsa so that the path opens up.
and here is the folder we are interested in RBS 1.13 - Autumn nords - Winter Monza by JW modding .
Double click on RBS 1.13 - Autumn nords - Winter Monza by JW modding where there are six files
What we are interested in is the file JSGME.exe, which gives us a choice of 3 settings:
Then click on JSGME.exe and allow the computer to open the application
Select with a click the scenery you want to activate in Assetto Corsa,
e.g. Real Billboards & Stuff 1.13, click on the > sign
and the scenery will switch to the Activated Mode window in a couple of minutes, depending on the speed of the computer.
If you do not want any further changes, close with Close
If you want to restore the original Assetto Corsa environment, just do the procedure in reverse, clicking on the environment in the Activated Mode window, then on the < sign and in a few minutes the original environment will be restored.
Now to the practical part. Assetto Corsa's appearance changes, and how! Much more realistic.
Here are a few examples:
As you can see, the details are much more realistic, especially the billboards, kerbs, steps, ambulances etc.
Tracks become slippery, the car harder to hold in turns, and hard braking takes the car directly off the track. A good driving school on icy roads.
UNINSTALL
To uninstall the 3 Mods completely or only one just open the Assetto Corsa folder in STEAM (not in Documents), run the JSGME.exe program and move in the right window the Mods you want to deactivate:
It's worth it, install and enjoy!

You can find a lot of odometers for Assetto Corsa, but my choice was focused on this Mod Initial D Arcade Tachometer 2.2 for two reasons: in one package there are 5 odometers and their look is nice and nice.
It is downloadable free here:
Initial D Arcade HUD | RaceDepartment
You need to download Custom Shaders Patch to work properly.
The zipped installation file takes up only 3.5 Mb and, after downloading it, just move it to Content Manager (page with Drive highlighted) with a drag&drop. Content Manager will take care of putting the folders and files where they belong.
In Content Manager you can find it in SETTINGS
All options appear.
An impressive number of options allow you to modify
Here are the odometers listed with the number you can edit in Content Manager
7
6
5
4
3
On the author's "Vegetable Tsai" resource page
Resources by Vegetable Tsai | RaceDepartment
I suggest you to download these mods because besides being free they are HUD variants and contain other gauges
There you will find the D Extra package with these gadgets:
D Advantage
It signals the advantage in meters over the car following you or the gap from the car in front of you.
D Driver
It writes down the name of the driver and the type of car and the position of those ahead or behind you.
D Lap time
Current lap time
D Map
Writes the number of the lap you are running.
D Records
Best time, last time, lap difference on best lap
Extra Settings
Allows you to modify the parameters of the gauges
Conclusions
Great job, very visually pleasing, useful and intuitive. Another Mod must have.

In the multitude of Mods for Assetto Corsa, Sol (Peter Boer) is among the most downloaded and constantly updated. In particular, Sol has a very interesting cloud management and, of course, a long list of weather changes ranging from fog to clear skies, rain, etc..
The zipped installation file weighs a good 240 Mb and, after downloading it, just move it to Content Manager (page with Drive highlighted) with a drag and drop. Content Manager will take care of inserting the folders and files where they belong.
Once installed you can find all its effects in Content Manager:

Weather: Precipitation in the form of irregular balls or lumps of ice whose size may vary from 5 millimeters (0.2 inches) to 15 cm (6 inches).
Conclusions.
At the moment the most complete and quality weather mod for Assetto Corsa, the effects are very realistic.
Rain, Hail, Thunderstorm and other effects related to rain and visually important weather events, while being very nice looking, do not have sounds which greatly reduces the fun, but most importantly the realism. Sounds are available with Patreon subscription on Ilja Usupov's site.
The rain is perfectly visible on the windshield, but outside the cockpit you can't see it and you can't even see it on the asphalt and same situation for snow, at the moment. Maybe in a future release.
In tight turns in the rain you can hear the tires whistle, which is pretty improbable on wet asphalt.
For less fast computers, I recommend version 1.5. to get an acceptable fps (frames per second) and avoid jerking in the view.
Apart from these inconveniences, of which it was necessary to warn, but which will surely be corrected in future versions, is a fantastic free mod that I recommend to everyone.

Natural Graphics Mod & Filter by Chris Kennedy is an application (Mod) that improves the graphic appearance of:
adding more realism.
This mod can be downloaded for free HERE , it weighs only 2.840 Kb and is easily installed with a drag&drop in this page of Content Manager.
In order to apply these changes to Assetto corsa, after installing this Mod, just go to Content Manager on this page, select "SETTINGS" and, in the menu on the left "VIDEO". Scroll down the page with the mouse until you find "Post-processing". If the box is not enabled, click on it to enable it.
Content Manager offers the option to instantly test the changes with the "Benchmark" button at the bottom right of its page.
The absolute best effects, in my opinion are:
N.1 Natural_Mod_Photomode di Natural Graphics Mod & Filter
N.2 HDR natural
N.3 HDR photographic
N.4 HDR Natural_Mod
N.5 HDR default
As you can see, even if these images do not have the definition of your monitor, the differences are evident, especially in the sharpness.
In addition to the top 5, there are still many other effects, some of them exaggerated, but I show you all of them.
Assetto corsa with the box "Enable post-processing effects" disabled.
default
Alpen Ultra
b&w
blue_steel
default_bright
default_dark
HDR cloud
HDR night is an effect that obviously has its best results in the dark. During the day it is overexposed.
HDR photo
HDR Ultra
HDR Movie
HDR Sepia
HDR Vintage
HDR Warm clear
HDR Warm cloud
HDR Warm night
HDR Warm photo
HDR Warm Ultra
HDR Xsedgraf clear
HDR Xsedgraf cloud

So, great Mod, you're spoiled for choice in terms of effects.

Content Manager
Content Manager is the most useful program for Assetto Corsa and without it you will have to spend a lot of time managing all the options.
Content Manager is free in the basic version and can be downloaded from this site:
Weighs only 10.851 Mb
How to upload to your computer
If you have downloaded it, you will find in Download the file
Open the file with any unzipping program and you will find 3 files:
Launch Content Manager.exe and this warning will appear, which will install Content Manager in the right directory and recognise you as a Steam user, if you are already registered on Steam
In any case, it is important to check that the Content Manager.exe file is located in this position
Steam/steamapps/common folder
if not, look for the Content Manager.exe file and move it to the right folder.
What is it for and how to use it
Let's take a look at the most important advantages of this extraordinary programme which will simplify the (complex) management of Assetto Corsa.
The premise stands in the definition of the content of this program: it is a launcher of Assetto Corsa, i.e. it directly starts the simulator and provides various control panels from which you can choose or modify the configurations of the simulator.
First advantage
One of the many advantages of Assetto Corsa, linked to the longevity of this simulator born in 2014 and which I still consider to be the best, is the availability on the web of a very high number of mods, i.e. applications to be inserted into the simulator. So we're talking cars, tracks, utilities, weather, etc..
Each of these mods must be inserted in a specific Assetto Corsa path and folder, otherwise it won't work and you'll waste a lot of time looking for tutorials, studying them and putting into practice what is recommended.
Well, Content Manager saves you all this time. Do we need to add a car? Generally cars, like all mods are in .zip format and so we should first unzip the.zip file into a folder and then look for the directory to put it in. This is a big waste of time and can also cause errors.
With Content Manager it's just a matter of a drag&drop from the zipped file to the "Drive" page.
A new page will open, we just have to click on "Install" and Content Manager will put the car in Assetto Corsa in the right place.
Same procedure for tracks and so on.
A new page will open, we just have to click on Install and Content Manager will put the track in Assetto Corsa in the right place.
Second advantage
The graphic look is one of the most important features of Assetto Corsa and it is related to the most realistic look possible that every player would like to see on his monitor.
In the "SETTINGS" page under "VIDEO" there is an impressive number of settings that serve to improve the graphic appearance. Don't be impressed by titles that may sound unfamiliar and whose values are normally fine as you see them because they have been extracted from the video card. The most interesting setting is the Post-Processing under "Filter", which contains a pop-up with a number of effects that change the appearance (colour, sharpness, blurring, lighting etc.) of Assetto Corsa.
Some of the best mods that change the realistic look of Assetto Corsa with links, in order of my preference:
Natural Graphics Mod 5.0.1 Chris Kennedy
None of these mods conflict with the others as they can be enabled or disabled by the "Filter" popup.
This filter can also be disabled.
Third advantage
On Assetto Corsa the settings are a bit scattered, while in Content Manager it is easier to have an overview and above all to test every change instantly. For example, in Post-processing, the LUT is used to better distribute the force (Force Feedback) that the simulator attributes to the steering wheel.
Content Manager has hundreds of features that you could write books about and there are many reviews on the web, so I will stop here at the most important advantages of this outstanding software.
